The coronavirus pandemic has ruined plans for everyone, including people who were about to get married. With no chances of having a live ceremony with beautiful sola wood wedding flowers and a huge party with all your beloved guests, you can still make the best of your wedding date. At this point, you either have to postpone or cancel your real celebration, but that doesn't mean that you cannot become an official family. Thanks to today's technologies, many couples are able to host a virtual wedding. If you are still unsure how you should do that, here are a few tips.
Invite Your Guests
As most of the people are in quarantine these days, it is enough to invite your guests a few weeks before your virtual wedding. As the wedding is virtual, so should be your invitation. The fastest way is to send an email to your guests. If you have enough time, you can also reach out to all your guests personally (that could be a chance to catch up, as well). You are probably still going to have your real wedding someday when things get back to normal, so make sure to remind your guests that they don't have to think about gifts for now. Of course, it could look amazing if your guests also decorated their rooms with sola wood wedding flowers to create a festive atmosphere, but leave it to them to decide.
Which Platform Is the Best?
We prefer Zoom as it gives you much more flexibility and power to control the whole call. Of course, you can use any other platform which allows conference calls (Skype, Facebook, etc.). However, with Zoom, you can also choose to host your wedding as a webinar so that your guests wouldn't have to show themselves and would only see you. But in most cases, your guests will want to see each other and have a small talk before the ceremony, so a classic video call should work like a charm.
Decorate Your House/Garden
No matter where you choose to get married, remember that even without live guests, it is still a wedding ceremony, so you should decorate it appropriately. If you are still in touch with your wedding florist, you might want to bring them over to shape and place all the wooden wedding flowers, sola wood roses. And of course, don't forget to take care of your sola wood bridal bouquet. You will still want to get some photos, right?
Take Photos
A photographer can keep a safe distance and still make some amazing photos of the ceremony. A lot of professional photographers are free these days, so you should not have any problems at booking one in short notice.
Make Sure It Is Official
Different states have different laws when it comes to getting married virtually. As it was not a thing before the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of laws are not exactly flexible. So, the first thing you want to do before organizing your virtual wedding is to call the local clerk's office and make sure to find out all the legal nuances!
